A Note On sleeping bag sizing

When selecting a sleeping bag, the length and girth are the most important roles in warmth and comfort. If there is too much room at your feet, it is very difficult for your feet heat the excess air to a comfortable temperature. If your bag is too short, it is difficult to stretch out and sleep comfortably. Although gear storage is a factor in some cases when selecting length, it is advisable to select a bag closest to your actual length.

The most common issue when selecting the proper girth is efficiency versus comfort. The wider the girth, the more comfortable and roomy the bag but it is also less efficient. Consider selecting a bag that can allow a comfortable yet most efficient interior space. This way you can assure many comfortable nights of sleep so the following day your body can operate at its optimum ability. For information on girth click on the girth description on each individual bag located above the image of the bag.

Note: We can only alter the length of a bag by 6" increments. We can however, change the girth of any bag for a custom alteration fee.
