- Great Comforter-Get ItReview by Karen
After years of research and obsessing about purchasing the perfect comforter-I finally bit the bullet!
Was trying to decide between the 750 medium Bavarian and the 850 light.
I was concerned that the light would not be warm enough for Boston winters and I wanted to also use it year round.
I liked the idea of the highest quality down and went for the 850 lightweight.
We have been thrilled with the comforter, it is very warm, would not want it any warmer, and I think it could still work in summer with AC.
The fabric is beautiful, the down is white, and the down does not leak out.
I always thought that baffles made for a better comforter with more loft and had some concern there also. However, there is plenty of loft and the down stays in place, unlike baffle box comforters I have owned.
We could not be happier with our purchase! (Posted on 3/24/2017)
- Bavarian Light 850Review by Bill Ryan
I purchases this item and a duvet cover in twin size a few months ago during our typically cold winter in western Pennsylvania. The overall quality of the comforter and cover is excellent. The duvet cover is fine Egyptian cotton. The comforter is very light weight, the down lofts wonderfully, the cover fits well, and I've had no problems with the comforter shifting inside the cover.
I've had my bedroom temperature down into the mid 50's (Farenheit) at night and been quite comfortable with just a top sheet and this comforter in it's cover. When the temp in my room gets above the high 60's, I find this comforter can be too warm. But that's just me. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend Feathered Friends products. (Posted on 4/25/2015)
