A suit for many, many cold seasons.Review by Over-the-hill mountain guide guy
I have to admit to being embarrassed that I haven't reviewed my Feathered Friends Expedition suit before this. A a full-time professional guide, I get to see pretty much everything on the market and then some (home-made and custom-made). I get to see gear used, abused, and in some of our planet's worst weather and conditions. I need to say that after a number of years of using my FF suit on many 8,000-meter peak expeditions and summits (including 5 to Everest), multiple expeditions to Antarctica, and many winter expeditions here at home in Alaska, the FF suit is BY FAR the warmest, most user-friendly, and most durable of any. Period. Mine is still going strong after about 20 expeditions. After all, how much is each toe or finger worth to you? Keeping a warm core goes a long way to keeping warm and cold- injury free extremities. If you want the best and warmest, buy this! (Posted on 10/15/2016)
Everest SummiteerReview by Doug
My Feathered Friends down suit was one of the key factors in my successful summit of Mt Everest. Our summit day weather conditions were 60 below wind chill and with only 2 moderate layers under my down suit I was not the least bit cold. In addition my thermos bottles and snack items in the inside pockets never froze. Keep up the great work! (Posted on 7/10/2013)
