Great JacketReview by Nick
I purchased the Hyperion as a daily wear winter jacket for use in Seattle. Recently, I've been using the jacket on a daily basis during winter in the mid-Atlantic. So far this has been a great purchase. This is an exceptionally warm jacket for the weight, and the relatively durable face fabric seems as though it will hold up well. The fit is relatively trim - there is not a lot of room underneath for layering - but the jacket has classic lines and seems well-fitted. With simply a t-shirt underneath, the Hyperion has been comfortable on walks with temperatures in the 30's. Winds up to 20mph do not pass through the jacket and are not a problem.

Minor issue that could be improved - all of the zippers are relatively small and would be very difficult to manipulate with gloves on. If the manufactures would place pull cords on the zippers, this would easily solve the problem.

All in all, I would highly recommend this jacket. The Hyperion's combination of light-weight, warmth, and durability is difficult to find in any other jacket on the market. (Posted on 11/21/2014)
