The Feathered Friends Expedition Suit is the gear of choice for those looking to reach the planet's highest summits and back. Over 25 years of feedback and advice from some of the world’s preeminent climbers is clearly evident in the current design. Balancing warmth, weight, and durability is essential in this piece and with a generation of field results to look back on, we think we’ve found the perfect equilibrium. A dual zipper front entry reveals an adjustable internal suspender system, waist strap, and two large water bottle pockets. Insulated chest cargo pockets feature a Velcro flap closure top access and a separate compartment with zippered Napoleon style entry near the main zip to eliminate interference with backpack straps and provide a secure storage area. An extra high collar wraps a layer of insulation around the neck, protecting sensitive skin from sun and wind exposure when the hood is not deployed. An optional rainbow drop seat or through-crotch zip is available to match your base layering system. Multiple slider configurations allow the legs to be vented.

Feathered Friends understands that a garment such as this is designed with the sole purpose of keeping the person inside of it alive under extreme conditions and this is not a task we take lightly. Every individual is unique and we can custom tailor our Expedition Suit to your specifications. We ask that you try the nearest stock size and make adjustments based on that if necessary. While we strive to keep suits in stock, a custom build can take several months so please plan accordingly.
