Daybreak Jacket

The ultimate layering piece for cold days or long belays, the Daybreak jacket was designed with a minimalist approach to create the lightest down garment possible without sacrificing structural integrity. With a NanoSphere outer fabric and tightly woven 15 denier rip-stop lining, the closely spaced quilting traps the finest down in the world, testing at over 900 fill power by independent analysis. The extraordinary loft is a crucial component to achieving the superior warmth to weight ratio that sets the Daybreak apart from the competition. Featuring a light-weight reverse coil main zip backed by a windproof micro-fleece lined guard and hidden zippers in the side seams that open to reveal secure hand warmer pockets. With an average weight of 8.6 ounces, the Daybreak is a perfect piece for day trips or anytime pack space is limited.

  1. very nice jacket... but...

Very nice jacket... but a bit short of perfection...
the lycra cuffs are pretty tight and a bit annoying.. I've owned dozens of jacets over the past 40 years and never seen cuffs this tight... also, though less of a problem, the pocket zipper pulls are VERY small and slick metal so not easy to grab... especailly with cold fingers... solution might be to cut them off and replace with small pull cords. Even smaller issue is, if you don't zip the jacket all the way up at the neck, the zipper can irritate neck skin. Over all, though, a great jacket.
