Jackorack
Inspired by our lightest weight fabric, Pertex Endurance UL, the Jackorack offers wind protection and great water resistance for 3.5 oz. Combining this fabric with the newest technology in sonic seam welding and the jacket it not only wind proof but nearly water proof as well. The jacket is constructed with almost no needle holes in the fabric (there is a line of stitching on the inside of the hood for durability, the draw cord and the pockets are stitched to the tape then bonded to the face fabric). There are lots of other wind shells on the market but almost none of them offer the water resistance that is found with the Jackorack. The Pertex Endurance UL fabric is an 11 denier rip stop fabric that has a skim coating of polyurethane (PU) on the back. This thin coating allows for great water resistance while maximizing breathability. Two mesh vent pockets, a draw-cord hem and a hood make this the ideal lightweight garment for those days when you’re not sure what you’ll get into or what weather you may encounter without adding weight or bulk to your pack
