Egret UL 20

When we set out to design a bag specifically for the female form we didn't realize how well the cut could work for anyone looking for more room in the elbows, a warmer footbox and alternative lengths. The Egret has become our most popular bag in the Feathered Friends Women’s line.

Description

  • Mummy shape with #5 YKK two-way, separating zipper with locking sliders
  • Passive collar provides an extra cushion of down around your neck to trap the heat
  • Trapezoidal footbox allows your feet to fall in a natural pose without compressing the sides
  • Continuous baffles let you position the insulation where you need it
  • 3D contoured hood opens wide for warm nights and cinches tight when the temps start to drop
  • Generous draft tube prevents cold air from seeping past the zipper
  • Overlapping dual-webbing zip guard guides the fabric away from the zipper and eliminates the need for a stiff or heavy fabric layer that can interfere with the draft tube seal

Reviewing: Egret UL 20

Customer Reviews

  1. Loving this bag after many uses in many environments

by Lisa "Pinky" Curry on Apr 27, 2015

I have used my Egret UL 20 sleeping bag in a variety of conditions and locations. It traveled with me on my thru hike of the Hayduke Trail in the desert of the Southwest, on my cross country ski trips in the interior of Alaska and in a wide range of weather as a summer guide across the state of Alaska. Even after almost constant use this past year it is still in excellent condition.
I have slept warm in temperatures as low as 0° F while under a tarp with only base layers for clothing. There is plenty of room for me to bend a knee or keep my arms above my head, but it is cut close enough to avoid too much additional room avoiding cold spots. This bag zips together easily with the Men's version and together the two bags are more than enough room for myself and my 6'4" boyfriend. We even let our dog snuggle with us at times.
I am tough on my gear and this bag has held up to my abuse and use fantastically. It still feels as great as it did when it was brand new. I am sure I will be using this sleeping bag for many years to come.
I have posted photos and additional information on a review on my website...
