In 2012, Caroline Van Hemert and Patrick Farrell undertook a true odyssey, journeying from Bellingham, Washington over 4,000 road-less and trail-less miles to Kotzbue, Alaska. By rowboat, ski, pack-raft, foot, and canoe, they traveled through some of the most dramatic landscapes in North America. Caroline and Patrick rowed the length of the Inside Passage, crossed the Coast Mountains on skis, hiked and packrafted the length of the Yukon Territory, paddled among icebergs of the Arctic Ocean, and traversed the Brooks Range. All in six months and all under human power. Learn about their adventures, see great footage of wild times and wild critters, and hear stories about the trials and triumphs this journey!
