Alaska’s Mount McKinley easily falls into the latter and the Icefall Parka has seen more summit days than any other jacket in our line.  Adhering to Feathered Friends' design principles, the Icefall Parka blends lightweight construction, superior materials, and essential functionality to create the ideal parka for your next expedition. The dual-zipper insulated draft protection system common to the expedition line was developed through years of feedback and serves as the ultimate barrier to the elements. Two Velcro secured, insulated front cargo pockets are backed by zippered side entry hand warmer pockets. Extra large internal chest pockets provide additional storage options. 1.5” baffles throughout the entire parka provide an even insulation layer that eliminates cold spots common in sewn-through construction. Originally designed for mountaineering use, the Icefall has earned a loyal following across the country as users discovered they didn’t have to look like a tire commercial mascot to stay toasty warm throughout the winter.
