The inspiration for the Penguin series came from the desire to create a two person sleep system that was light and compact enough for extended backpacking trips yet roomy enough to keep both partners comfortable throughout the night. The Penguin 20 is our most popular variation and represents an exceptional balance of warmth and comfort for two while remaining light and compact enough for solo backcountry use. Two draft tubes line the zipper to prevent loss of heat when used alone or with a Groundsheet. Optional hoods are available for cold weather comfort; these can be attached to our Groundsheet or zipped onto the sleeping bag when used by one sleeper.
