Penguin Nano 30 Sleeping Bag

The Penguin 30 is a great all around choice for many outdoor adventures, from car camping in moderate temperatures to warmer weather backcountry ventures. Performing equally well as a roomy bag for one or a two person system when coupled with the Penguin Groundsheet, the Penguin 30 also zips open flat for a convenient travel quilt. Optional hoods can be attached to the bag for solo use or zipped onto a Groundsheet for two person camping luxury. The Penguin 30 and 20 are particularly popular among hunters and fishermen.

Plus size perfectReview by Big Mama
i am a plus size hiker who does not fit into a standard women's mummy bag. I also like to camp in the winter. This Penguin fits my girth comfortably and keeps me warm during my Canadian winter camping in the snow! The quality is excellent! I also used it on the Juan De Fuca trail (where down sleeping bags are discouraged) and I was assured by Feathered Friends that the schoeller nanosphere would hold up to the extreme humidity...and it did! Not a single problem! I cannot recommend this company enough. So for any bigger girls out there who are hitting the trails and want a sleeping bag that fits and keeps you warm, this is your ticket! One great bagReview by Fishbait
This is an excellent bag. Very roomy. Lofts well. At about 2.5 lbs, easy to pack around. I find it's comfortable at 10 degrees beyond its rating, but I sleep hot. Compresses even better than expected. I bought the hood and I'm glad I did (makes for significantly more comfortable sleep in the cold). Outer fabric is durable. Construction is superior to any bag I've owned. These guys know how to create a quality bag. (Posted on 1/7/2016)
