Snowbunting EX 0

One of our most popular winter bags year after year, the Snowbunting is a favorite in the Cascades when the snow starts to fall and the skis come out. Lightweight, minimal pack size and the flexibility of continuous baffles allows the Snowbunting to easily transition into the warmer months.

  1. A great winter sleeping bag

    by Tozai-Trek on May 6, 2015

After spending a lot of time comparing different products of specialized brands[...] I chose the Snowbunting EX 0. [...] In the end I used this sleeping bag for alpinism, snowshoe treks and ice climbing trips for one and a half winter season and was never disappointed nor cold. I have never felt cold compare to my previous Vaude sleeping bag and saved about 400g. It is one of the best gear I bought and a purchase that I have never regret [...]

  2. Toasty Warm and Dry in Blizzard

by Chris Ward on Apr 14, 2015

Recently spent several nights in BC backcountry for a ski trip. We had blizzard conditions and were camped close to a ridge. There was a little condensation drippage in the 4 season tent and with the 50 mph wind, tended to freeze and do a little ice flakes raining down on the bag. Perfect. This is what the Snowbunting is made for. The pertex shell resisted all moisture for several days. The bag did not get wet at all and therefore heavy with water. Inside at night I was able to get good rest as I was toasty warm, dry and super cozy. Having suffered before with super heavy and large synthetic bags or on the other hand a lighter down bag with a bivy sack or nothing, this experience was a true pleasure. Love to see things made just right.:)

After 26 years my Snowbunting is still going strong! What more can I say? One of the best things I ever bought.
