Swallow Nano 20 Sleeping Bag

Hands down the most popular bag we've ever made, and for good reason. Compared to other mummy bags in the market, the Swallow is the ideal combination of light-weight warmth with room to sleep thanks to a more relaxed cut (more spacious than the Hummingbird, narrower than the Swift). The Swallow is the definition of an ideal all-around backcountry sleeper in a temperature rating that can satisfy a wide range of summer conditions.

Nano: Schoeller® NanoSphere 20 denier water-resistant/ breathable fabric.

A review after 28 yearsReview by Koyote
I bought a swallow in 1989. Went for the (then optional) 800 fill power down and Gore-Tex shell. Used it for a couple years, then moved to a colder climate and sent it back to Feathered Friends for a few modifications: the addition of a collar and some more down filling. I was really impressed that they would modify a bag after I purchased it. They charged me, of course, but it was still a lot cheaper than buying a newer and heavier bag.

I don't camp very much anymore… But the bag is still in great condition, perfectly usable. And that is after it saw so much use when I was younger. I'll never part with it. It was expensive, but worth every penny. (Posted on 7/17/2017)
Wish I had purchased sooner.Review by Ted
I wanted a better sleeping bag for years and was reluctant to upgrade given the cost. However since receiving the bag I have spent a dozen nights sleeping in the backcountry I am a happy camper and would say the quality, comfort and warmth are fantastic. I would ask the hood design be looked into as this is my only real complaint. My silly complaint is I wish were more color choices. Overall this is a great bag and I look forward to many warm nights in the backcountry with my feathered friends.

PS: I am already saving up for a second feathered friends in a different temperature to compliment my swallow. (Posted on 9/12/2016)
Worth every penny!Review by Paul
I've owned my Swallow for over 20 years. Used extensively. Backpacking / back country skiing / or watching TV. It's a wonderful bag. I feel it's far warmer than the 20 degree rating. No quality problems with seams, zippers, etc. People are amazed at how small it stuffs. Keep them clean and they will be long lived. I would have no reservations in purchasing another one if needed. Super comfy, super warm, super bag.
Hood is a little strange but it still keeps the cold out.
Thanks guys. (Posted on 2/17/2015)
