Winter Wren Sleeping Bag

Warmer than it's sibling the Rock Wren, the Winter Wren is also a favorite of backpackers and big-wall climbers alike. The zippered arm holes of the Wren series allow you to wear your bag like an uber-warm parka when you're perched 10 pitches up, and the two-way center zip provides a convenient opening to remain tied in while you sleep. Trips out of the tent in the wee hours of the morning are no longer a matter of necessity overcoming endurance; the Wren's drawcord bottom the bag can be opened up and easily slipped above the waist.

What a great bagReview by Chisum Outdoor
Another great FF bag. My third. I got this one in the long with a little extra down fill. Great customer service. It should be perfect for early Summer and Fall weather here in Colorado. I know I’ll love the versatility of the design. The YFuse material looks and feels great. (Posted on 2/20/2019)
I'm happyReview by Joe
I was a bit concerned that the bag would be too warm for 3-season use in Colorado.

No worries. The ventilation options are up to the task. With the chest zip, both armholes and the foot open, I'm comfortable to about 60F. And I'm a warm sleeper.

The zippers are friendlier (less inclined to snag) than any others I've used.

That is very important to me, as I occasionally get claustrophobic in a zipped-up bag, and I need to get out NOW.

Another cool option I've discovered is to use the bag upside-down, as a quilt. Unzip the chest, open the foot, lie on my pad, and pull the bag over me. Totally eliminates squirming into the bag. In or out in a second.

I'm 5'11", 175#, and the short bag fits perfectly. Plenty of leg room, which I need in order to not feel constricted.

Haven't worn it in camp as a parka yet, but I'm looking forward to that. I know it will work, as I have gotten up for a midnight pee.

Well done, FF.

This is really they cats meow of sleeping bags. I have seen other designs similar but with the combo of feathered friends and walking bags I thought I would give it a try. Yes I totally and convinced now. Really good product. Light, warm and convenient. (Posted on 5/31/2017)
