United StatesI am a cold sleeper and was planning to sleep in a ranger trench directly on snow so I combined these pants with a 0 degree bag and I was comfortable all night.. I rented the size medium and it was a good fit, maybe a bit big in the waist but it fit my hips/thighs perfectly. For reference my waist is ~27in, hips ~40in.
United StatesGreat pants for non-active activities in the cold, much warmer for the price compared to other cold weather pants. And you can always unzip the sides if you're getting too warm. I plan on using them to stay warm at campsites in the future.

United StatesThey are super warm and I think the elastic waistband is quite nice. I am a 5'5" ~120 lb woman and bought the extra small. I wish they came in a women's version, but alas. They are a bit poofy in the front since they come up to fit over my hips. Pockets would also be a really nice addition! But the full zips do allow access to my inner pants pockets since they can unzip from top or bottom. I'll be using these on a trip to Aconcagua later this year and will update on their performance after.
