To Measure
Sleeve:
With your arms slightly bent measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to your wrist
Chest:
Measure around your chest holding the measuring tape under your armpit
Waist:
Measure around your waist at the narrowest part
Inseam:
While standing, measure from the inside of your leg from crotch to ankle

The helios jacket is simply amazing! It's light, warm and rugged unlike other high-end brands. I currently own 7 other down jackets from supperlite to expedition quailty. The helios is the best overall.

Want to preface by saying I am 6ft 180lbs and large ended up being a good fit. I have a long torso and it at times feels a little short but I can see that being nice for anything where I was wearing a harness (have just worn skibackpacking). Warmth is great, able to throw this on at night and just be warm. Was mostly for overnights in the sierras and wasatch and worked like a dream. Nothing like rolling into camp exhausted and not being cold.

The many previous postings of comments that you may review summarize the Helios Hooded Down Jacket cover it well. There are TWO design features that I feel would better fulfill the purpose I purchased the jacket for and even without them did not stop me from purchasing my jacket. The one that stand out is the BACK LENGTH MEASUREMENT I would have liked to have been 29 – 30 inches, an increase from the present 27.5 inches on the size Large jacket I have. Another item I miss in cold Michigan weather is an INNER JACKET CHEST POCKET to store items….especially a water bottle when it is extremely cold. I miss the DOUBLE ZIPPER, but the jacket will serve my purpose now without one, but if you can remember they were placed in many jacket of the past along with SNOW SKIRTS and MITTEN CLIPS. This jacket once promoted 700+ fill power down with overfills of 800+ as an option and REINFORCEMENTS on high abrasion areas….. AND TODAY Ethically Sourced 900+ Down IS STANDARD and a fabric update that can't be beat. I’m glad to see that the Feather Friends sewn logo has been reduced in size and moved from the yester years back of a jacket as it was not appropriately sized and positioned. I have been a customer and strong advocate of Feather Friends now for over 40 years and as the company grown, so has their products and service that competes even better with the many companies that presently sell similar garments. Sorry to say I have yet to put the Helios through its design attributes fully since my Early Spring purchase of 2023 and will in the years to come, and having many other jackets and sleeping bags made by Feathered Friends of the past I know I will not be disappointed.
