I used this on a weeklong wilderness trip into the high mountains of Northern Idaho/Montana, in June (and on the car ride there and back, actually). The bag was too warm for the weather, which isn't the bag's fault, I knew that going in. But I wanted to test it out and wasn't sure how low the weather would dip, so decided to bring this as insurance. I would just drape it over me like a quilt or keep it completely unzipped with my arm out, and it kept me nice and toasty. Also got caught in some thunderstorms and the water resistant material was really helpful in keeping me and the bag dry. Others had to dry their bag out over the fire. Overall the bag's quality is exceptionally high, and very comfortable. Extremely impressed and can't wait to take this winter camping. And I'll probably get a higher rated bag for warmer weather from FF as well now. Expensive but you know immediately that you got what you paid for. It's a piece of gear I feel safe relying on.

I have used this above tree line and I see it my goto in alpine or snow weather conditions. Even good in the summer above tree line where its a little above freezing, because you can just open it up and it's easy to regulate temperature. So a pretty much 4 season bag for me in the PNW. Packs down better with a compression bag, then I store it in the big bag they provide to allow it to rise to its natural state. Best addition to my gear in a very long time.

I have not yet taken this fabulous sleeping bag out for a true cold weather test. However, I am super pleased with the quality construction, the fit, and the gorgeous red color. I was a bit afraid it would be blindingly bright, but it is a rich red. The amount of down is perfect, the bag feels cozy and lofty. I can't wait to try it in the elements!
