We created the Flicker to achieve maximum comfort and versatility without compromising on weight. Unzipped, it functions as a large quilt on warmer nights and is wide enough to cover two adults in a pinch. The footbox can be cinched tight and partially zipped for greater efficiency on cooler nights. At the bottom end of the temperature rating, the Flicker functions as a full center-zip mummy sleeping bag. With 900+ fill power down and ultralight a Pertex® YFuse shell, the Flicker series is ideally suited for those chilly summer nights in the alpine or on a thru-hike.
Available in 20 Degree, 30 Degree, and 40 Degree options.
YF: YFuse. Pertex® Quantum® 20 denier water-resistant/breathable fabric. Our YF line of sleeping bags feature a lightweight, 100% nylon Pertex® Quantum® shell that uses yarns with unique Y-shaped filaments to create a fabric with increased downproofing and water beading properties, even after years of use and washing.

Warm!
My trial was three nights of camping with temperatures in the 30s to low 40s. The first night I left the down evenly distributed, with the zipper on the side and the bottom sinched. I could have been warmer, so the next night I used the zipper on top and shook the bag gently to shift the down toward the zipper. Voila, I was warm! Since the bag is long for me (I'm 5'2"), I could snuggle down into it and put my inflatable pillow inside the top of the bag. The third night I was a little too warm at times. The adjustable down takes some planning and getting used to, but I love the light weight (for backpacking) for the amount of warmth! And it was roomy enough so I could turn over inside the bag, instead of turning it over with me.
I love it
So amazing! I hope it can visit many places over time with me
Never going back
So much more versatile than a sleeping bag. Genuinely excited to use it every time I hop in a tent. Was worried about the lack of hood for colder climbs but the flexibility of parka + this for really cold times is unbeatable. In fact my girlfriend is using this as a blanket on our bed at home as I write this :)
Feather Friends Hummingbird YF Quilt 20f
I used the Hummingbird Quilt for the first time on a four day hike recently. I am very happy with the quality of this bag. Zipper worked flawlessly and the footboard drawstring effectively kept my feet warm. This bag is very light and packs down very small even without a compression sack. As a bonus it comes with a larger sack so it can be stored partially lofted. When unzipped it turns into a quite large Quilt. The inner material is very soft and comfortable. I ordered the long version and even without a hood it had plenty of space to keep my head warm in sleeping bag mode. Overall I would recommend Feathered Friends bags to others due to their excellent build quality, functionality and diverse product lineup. Customer service was excellent and responded very quickly.
