Very happy so far!
This is my 3rd FF sleeping bag and I love it just as much as the others! The 950+ fill down is incredible - so fluffy and warm. I walked into the store convinced I was going to buy the YF and I switched to the UL because the loft was noticeably better in the UL. I like the new (new to me) no-snag zipper and the draft tube/collar is great as usual. I love the women's fit because I like to curl up or tuck a knee up while I sleep, and there's more room in the midsection to do so. There's also less width in the shoulders so it's easier to keep drafts out. I sleep cold and was very warm and comfortable in this bag down to 30 degrees in base layers and socks -- based on that experience I'd be confident taking it right down to the temp rating if I added a light puffy, hat and thicker gloves. Clover is a similar color to the online photo - a beautiful, happy, saturated green!
Warmth and Comfort
I'm writing this review on behalf of my girlfriend, for whom I purchased this bag... She says it is unbelievably warm, warmer than her much older 15 degree bag. I got her the 30 degree medium which is the move for someone in between the sizes. She is 5'6". The Lupine is a beautiful, dark and saturated purple. The bag definitely has a roomy fit in the upper body section! Quality is of course top notch, and the draft collars are superbly designed.
Compact, warm and comfortable
This is my third FF bag. I have a -25 and a zero as well. I purchased the 20-degree bag to use as a summer bag in the high sierra and I have absolutely no regret! This thing is so light and made of pure quality down. I was looking forward to snuggling into this thing after long days of hiking every evening. Feathered friends uses quality down and packs and feels like a dream. It’s the only company I will buy a bag from.
So warm and light!
I am thrilled with the performance of this sleeping bag! It is extremely warm (20 degree version) and fulfills my needs for having a light pack weight. This bag is replacing my > 10 years old bag, which is almost twice as heavy as this. Worth the upgrade.
Love this bag for Northern summers in teh mountains.
