The Snow Goose is the world’s premier high altitude expedition sleeping bag. This model shares many design elements with the warmer Snowy Owl but delivers superb warmth at a lighter weight. We eliminated the second (inside) zipper and scaled back the hood and shoulder regions, but retained the efficient contoured shape that keeps full loft of the 900+ fill down around the head for maximum warmth.
EX: Winter & Expedition. Pertex® Shield® fabric. 15 denier with 40 denier rip-stop reinforcement. Water-resistant/ breathable coating.
Ideal for: High-Altitude Expeditions, Frigid Winter Camping, Polar Trips

Great for Wyoming
I am 5'10" ~260lbs. Wide shoulders and hips. Side sleeper. Sleeping bag is very high quality. Zipper is excellent and is anti-snag. For my body type, I would like a slightly wider shoulder area, but I understand compromises have to be made for weight and volume. When I put my sleeping pad inside the bag, I was flipping the bag while tossing and turning. Took the sleeping pad out, and I could turn inside the bag without flipping it. If you are a smaller person, this bag will be very spacious. A light build person could fit their body, pad, and gear in here. A larger build will fit their body and some gear. I got sick while camping. I zipped this up at night when it was +40 degrees at night and I killed my covid fever in 2 nights. On night 3, I was sweating in this and opened up the zipper so I could cool off. My critique is I would like some cloth loops on the bag to tie it down to a pad. I can't fit my bag in here so I would like the ability to not fall off the pad when I toss and turn. If you are taking this into a backcountry situation, use a 35L compression sack. It compresses this bag in half. I got mine down to around 20ish liters with compression. It fits easily in my Stone Glacier 7000 backpack. It will come with me elk hunting this year. After taking it camping, I learned this bag is overkill for most situations. But I wanted to buy one bag, one time, to handle ANYTHING Wyoming can throw at me. It can get below -20F in the winter here easily and last year it was -40F. When I am not camping, this goes in the truck in case I am stranded in a winter storm. I may be poorer owning this bag, but I will never experience being cold ever again.

Denali Crash Pad
Bought this sleeping bag for a Denali expedition. Looking forward to getting it out for several test runs before the big climb. It is well constructed and Feathered Friends h ad great customerservice!

Goose EX 40
I have not used it yet but it’s way to heavy for a backpacking trip. I’m sure it will keep me warm and I’ll keep it but it’s way to big for BP trips.

I'm not afraid to face the cold
I'm wating the cold winter temperature . I'm sure my feedback will be positive.
