Ibis EX 0 Sleeping Bag

The widest of our 0 degree bags, the Ibis provides room in the shoulders while maintaining the efficient cut necessary to reduce extra space and keep heat loss to a minimum. Like the Snowbunting, the Ibis is ideal for cold ascents in the Cascades, Nepal treks, and for Mount Rainier. The Ibis also excels when you are pushing the comfort rating of bag and need space to wear a down jacket while you sleep.

Ibis bag versatilityReview by GM
This is the best and most versatile bag I have used. The best thing about this 0 degree bag is its WB shell. Its highly water resistant and breathable. the best idea was to have this WB around the hood. All other bags were soaked from your breath and when packing this would wet the rest of other bags. this bag stayed dry on extended trips. The larger width lets your layer clothes to extend the temp rating down to -30, tested this in the White Mountains and was never cold.Great bag (Posted on 1/13/2018)
Top-tier bag, top-tier serviceReview by Will
This is my third FF bag and arguably my favorite; the Pertex Shield shell is reassuring during extremely wet UK winter bivvies (although I'd recommend a VBL setup to avoid soaking the bag from the inside if you perspire a lot). Seals up tight and accurate to temp rating; the snap baffle and zipper connections are a lot more pleasant to deal with than velcro. Unzipped, I've found the Ibis comfortable up through the high 30s.

Get the overfill option; you won't regret it. The FF crew were super helpful in getting me this bag in a hurry. (Posted on 12/2/2017)
Great Bag!Review by Ernie S.
I bought this bag for a winter camping/snowshoeing/ice fishing trip in the BWCA in February. Overnight low temps ranged from 0 to -25F and this bag handled everything but the lowest temperatures comfortably. I wore only a base layer on top and bottom, socks and down booties and used a Therm-a-Rest XTherm pad. When it was -25, I woke up at about 4am slightly chilly, threw on a pair of down pants and a light down jacket and went back to sleep. The huge neck baffle seals your heat in and the cold out and the hood cinches snugly around your head. I like how Feathered Friends uses snaps instead of velcro for the neck baffle and zipper closures...much stronger and more comfortable. This was my first Feathered Friends piece of gear.....and after how it performed, it definitely won't be my last! If you're debating whether to buy this bag because the lack of reviews or information about it, don't. Take the plunge, you won't be disappointed! (Posted on 2/19/2014)
