Everything we make ships from Seattle. Many orders include a short production time before shipping. Production estimates, methods, free-shipping thresholds, and international policies, all in one place.
When will my order ship?
Our Seattle production facility is as busy as ever. Some items require additional time to complete before they ship. These are typical timelines. If you have an urgent deadline, do not hesitate to contact us.
Expedited shipping doesn't speed up production.
Choosing a faster shipping method means a quicker delivery after the order is finished. It doesn't reduce production time. If you have a tight deadline, contact us first. We'll do our best to accommodate.

All orders ship from our Seattle facility or retail store. Times below are post-production. They don't include the manufacturing window listed above.
Standard Shipping
The most economical service for the 48 contiguous states. We choose the standard shipping service based on your order and destination, typically UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. All free-shipping orders ship via standard service. See the map below.
Expedited Shipping
Faster delivery once your order is finished. Available at checkout for additional cost. Note: expedited shipping speeds up delivery only. It doesn't reduce production time.
International Shipping
UPS Worldwide Saver or DHL Express International. International orders may incur duties, taxes, or VAT. See the International section below for details.

Shipping to most countries worldwide.
We ship internationally with your choice of UPS Worldwide Saver or DHL Express International. Most international orders arrive within 1–2 weeks of the ship date, though shipping times can vary based on customs processing and other factors outside our control.
A few things to know.
Most products ship anywhere in the world. A small number of items have shipping restrictions, either due to dealer agreements with our partner brands or state-level regulations. Here's what's restricted and why.
Partner brand restrictions
Due to dealer agreements, we cannot ship many non-Feathered-Friends brands outside the USA. This includes (but is not limited to) Therm-a-Rest, MSR, Platypus, Scarpa, La Sportiva, Salewa, Osprey, Mammut, Arc'teryx, and Petzl.
Hilleberg items cannot ship to any European country, Chile, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, or Taiwan.
If an order set to ship outside the USA includes restricted items, we'll cancel those items, refund them, and notify you so the rest of your order can ship.
State-level restrictions
Some US states have banned the sale of products containing perfluorinated chemicals (PFAS). We're actively working to eliminate PFAS from everything we make and carry, but the transition takes time. We're balancing the change with our commitment to product performance and reducing waste from materials sourced before the bans took effect.
If your state restricts a product in your cart, we'll let you know at checkout or as soon as we identify the issue, and we'll cancel and refund any restricted items.
Shipping FAQ.
For Feathered Friends products, check out Production Times at the top of this page. If items are already finished and in stock, they may ship as quickly as it takes to package them. Holidays and weekends are not included in production estimates. Other products typically ship within 1 to 2 business days.
Expedited shipping speeds up delivery after your order is finished. It doesn't speed up production. If your sleeping bag is in the 4–6 day production window, choosing 1-day shipping won't ship it on day one. If you have a tight deadline, contact us → first and we'll see what we can do.
Yes, we ship to all US states and military addresses. Free shipping does not apply to these destinations. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the carrier and service available to your address.
We get it. Sometimes "as soon as possible" isn't fast enough. Because there are so many variables involved in getting a package from our door to yours (like real-time stock levels, possible production time, and shipping logistics), we do not offer next-day shipping as a standard option online. We'd rather be honest than over-promise and let you down.

You'll receive a tracking link in the shipping confirmation email when your order leaves Seattle. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder, then contact customerservice@featheredfriends.com with your order number.
