OK, so never tried these on a trip. Totally would wear in a sleeping bag. I have cold feet wear around the house. My go to when when my feet just get cold. Booties are great .. that outer thing is funky as can be. Never can figure which foot works :). It's like clunking around in a shopping bag :). But .. it does have a rubber boot. I think, the outer boot thing is problematic. Bought my wife a pair too. Seriously, the down bootie part is the s***. The outer part .. meh.

These are so cozy! The down socks come out to warm you in your sleeping bag or on the couch, and the over boots let you walk outside even in wet grass. They're so comfortable!
