Innovative multi-purpose HMS-style screwgate locking carabiner from Edelrid with a steel insert at the apex of the carabiner to help prevent wear, burrs, or sharp edges from bolt hangers and ropes. Also includes a spring bar to prevent shifting and cross loading. Industry standard "keylock-style" closure helps prevent snagging when clipping on and off of slings, gear, ropes, and harness gear loops. An ideal style of carabiner for serious belay/rappel use.
