I live in Colorado and as soon as we are done with summer evening temperatures drop and my bedroom is freezing. I was putting a ton of blankets unable to move and unable to warm up. I wanted the warmest comforter. I sign up for reminders on a few versions of the comforter and for a few days researched many other alternatives. The day came when I for an email that baffle box 700 medium was available and purchased it right away. When it came out of the box I was disappointed and thought there was no way this was the best I could buy. I put it in the dryer on air- and out came out the most lush and full comforter. It’s just perfect? I don’t need any extra layers and it keeps me perfectly warm, wrapped in what feels like clouds!

Went with Medium warmth in the Baffled Box and it turned out to be too warm even for my wife that loves to be warm. Elected to return and purchase the Bavarian 700 Down Comforter in Light warmth and couldn’t be happier! Even feels fluffier than the baffled box.

Maybe the 800 with more fill is better. The 700 has so little fill that it is essentially just a $700 bedsheet. I regret buying it.

This cozy comforter is the strangest thing. If we wear any type of clothing (pajamas, silk or cotton etc.,.) there will be stains all over the comforter so I have the chore of washing it everyday or sleeping commando. Very annoying, especially for the price you pay.
