Fantastic Comforter

I researched quite a lot before deciding on Feathered Friends for my first goose down comforter. I was not disappointed in the least. This review is for the Bavarian 700, Queen, light comforter. The quality is absolutely excellent. The warmth is way better than expected considering the light weight of the overall comforter. I was used to sleeping with 2 or more blankets on me, which also made me very used to some weight on me while I slept. When first using the comforter I was surprised by how light it was. I sleep with my room cool, around 62 degrees in the winter, so I was skeptical such a lightweight comforter could keep me warm. But after being cozy warm all night long, my skeptical nature was blown into the wind. I have even awakened feeling overly warm (I am a warm sleeper, as well). Overall, I highly recommend the comforter and I plan to get another for my guest bedroom. Great product and great warmth!

Much warmer than expected -- but the best anyway!

I sleep average/warm and live in California. I bought the light weight for winter and am finding it to almost be too warm! I'd recommend anyone in warmer climates (it doesn't freeze overnight save for a few nights in my region) to consider the summer or light weights!

Very warm & luxurious

My husband is always cold and he's actually leaving arms & legs out to moderate temp on the 3-season duvet. Yet the arm/leg venting works brilliantly. Very very happy people - one who loves warm & one who loves cool.

The best on the market

My household now has 5 Feathered Friends down comforters. Winters have been getting chilly as we are trying to save energy by keeping the heater off most of the night. We just received an arctic Cali King comforter to use on our King bed using King duvet covers. My wife sleeps cold, and she loves the additional heat compared to the medium fill. I strongly recommend ordering a size up as the finished comforter is smaller as described due to the loft of the down. I now use Kings comforter in Queen duvet covers and Cali King comforters in King covers. I just read a critical review about the sizing of these comforters but the description clearly states that the comforters will be smaller than stated as the measurement is of the fabric and not of the actual comforter.
