- Pertex® Shield EX water-resistant/breathable shell with DWR with a Pertex® Shield Air electrospun panel on the top middle for added breathability
- Pertex 30 denier taffeta lining
- Permanent collar with EX facing to prevent breath condensation from entering the bag
- Side-block baffles maintain a 60:40 top to bottom insulation distribution
- 3D contoured hood wraps a layer of down around your head
- Generous draft tube prevents cold air from seeping past the zipper
- Large side walls ensure even insulation all around
- Overlapping dual-webbing zip guard guides the fabric away from the zipper
- Tuck-stitch construction hides the baffle threads and prevents moisture from wicking through to the inside

Pertex® Shield Air - The new, super-breathable technology from Pertex®. We strategically construct our new ES sleeping bags with a panel of Pertex® Shield Air on the top to allow more moisture to vent, while maintaining warmth and minimizing excess humidity.

Wonderful bag meeting our expectations ( we ordered 2) for winter camping- very high quality construction and attention to details ( 3 people involved in the making and checking) obviously ensuring the standards and tradition of FF are maintained (we have other gear for years already and it certainly is of high quality. Great company to deal with, good communication and FAST shipping internationally - took 6 days to Australia!

Fantastic sleeping bag! Ultra warm bag for any winter or extreme cold. Also a perfect bag for anyone who is concerned about staying warm in cold weather. Its durable and intelligent construction with the highest quality materials is really something to experience when you have the benefit of 50+ years of using sleeping bags.
