Dawn jacket
Great product. It's like wearing a warm cloud, It's so light and comfy.
Favorite down jacket yet
I’ve become a down jacket addict. The older I get the more I feel the cold. I’m always on the lookout for light weight warmth. The new PFAS free EOS ticks so many of my boxes: awesome warmth to weight/packability; fit; cozy (love the silky soft fabric); accessible chest pocket; warm hand pockets; hood; cinchable hem; decent length; awesome safety colour (Rorange). I’m 5’3” 135# with broad shoulders. The small fits but doesn’t have a lot of room for layers and as other reviewers have said the fit in the hips is snug. I find the medium a bit roomy but given my sensitivity to cold I usually have two or more layers on which needs the extra room. I have an Eos vest in small and it has a bit more room around the hips and wish the jacket could be revised to the same fit. If it did I’d consider getting a small for days when I don’t need so many layers. Overall a great jacket and so happy to see your new colours.
Amazing quality, but didn't fit me well
This jacket seems incredibly warm and well made. Unfortunately, it didn't fit me well. I am 5'6'' and about 130lbs with a smaller chest. I found the S to be way too roomy in the torso and arms (looked quite unflattering). It was also too tight in the armpits and hips. My hips aren't really that pronounced, so I was surprised to feel tightness around the hips. Even with a thin base layer, the jacket was tight in the armpits. I need something that I can layer with and I know a size M would just be huge on me. I'm sure it fits other bodies really well, so it's worth a try. The return process was very easy, although I did have to pay for shipping.
Great lightweight Jacket w/chest & side pockets
Love this jacket. Has a hood (stays up on its own), drawstring at the hips, hidden chest pocket and 2 side zip pockets. Usually wear a Medium but b/c of the hips (mine are 40”), got a Large and it fits fine; maybe a bit bulkier in the body which is okay since I’ll probably have something thick underneath. I’m 5’10” and 135#.
The Perfect Down Jacket
I have been slowly building a capsule wardrobe and wanted a down jacket that was light enough to use backcountry skiing, bike touring and climbing. As well as durable. I am in love with this jacket!! I run cold and have been toasty warm into the upper 30's. I have not had the opportunity to try my Eos out in the winter though. I am 5"5 and 120lbs, petite athletic build and had to exchange my XS for a XSS and love the fit. I have enough room for two wool base layers under the jacket but it isn't too roomy that I can't fit it under a rain shell. All in all I am so happy with the quality and functionality of this jacket. I will be wearing it for years! And I am already scheming what my next feathered friends purchase will be
