To Measure

Sleeve:

With your arms slightly bent measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to your wrist

Measure around your chest holding the measuring tape under your armpit

Expedition Down Suit

Great! It has the ultimate warming on my body, not sweating, warms core, extremities, drafty areas on the top & lower back, hood is equally warm as the rest of the suit. I’m yet to try it in wet blizzard type conditions, but so far this was tested in Norway late winter. I enjoy it inside as well to avoid chill after a shower and throw it over me for extra warmth in the hotels while traveling. The only thing missing is I would get the pants and jacket as additional invaluable items. I would suggest a pack designed for the suit for travel, and some advice on how to safely use it with a compression bag. Thank you Feathered Friends from Coastal Norway in February!

Warm in Extreme Cold Temperatures "World's Best"

Summited Everest & Antarctica in FF

This suit literally helped save my life. On Everest in 2011, my oxygen ran out at the base of the Hillary Step, in the middle of a deadly -40/40mph whiteout storm. My Sherpa and I summited at 08:30am while the suit kept me surviving. The following year I would complete seven summits climbing Vinson Massif and my Feathered Friends suit looking after me to the top of the bottom of the world. I would give it ten stars if I could - and it’s made locally! (We live in Olympia, WA)

Expedition Down Suit

Feathered Friends builds quality products.I haven’t worn it yet as it was July when delivered.I could see it being warm at -50 F.
