Our YF line of sleeping bags feature a lightweight, 100% nylon Pertex® Quantum® shell that uses yarns with unique Y-shaped filaments to create a fabric with increased downproofing and water beading properties, even after years of use and washing.
YF: YFuse. Pertex Quantum® 20 denier mini-ripstop fabric treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

I ordered my bag on Monday 9/5 (Labor Day Holiday) Customer Service said to allow 6-9 days... I told them I had a back-packing trip 9/14. I received it 9/10, the following Saturday! Very nice customer service rep. 4 day trip in the Sierras. Backpacking up to 8,500'. Lowest night - 28 degrees. I was warm without layers of clothes. I didn't even mummy myself in the bag. Just wick dry shirt and legs. I'm 5'9", 170-lb. Hummingbird YF 20 degree, regular bag. Plenty of room. I will continue to use this bag into winter without fear of temperatures in the teens. I dropped 3lbs off my pack and I've never been as comfortable. Thank you Feathered Friends!
