Hands down the most popular bag we've ever made, and for good reason. Compared to other mummy bags in the market, the Swallow is the ideal combination of light-weight warmth with room to sleep thanks to a more relaxed cut (more spacious than the Hummingbird, narrower than the Swift). The Swallow is the definition of an ideal all-around backcountry sleeper that can satisfy a wide range of three-season conditions.
Available in 20 Degree and 30 Degree options.
Looking for the Osprey 30 UL? You're in the right place! The Osprey 30 has been renamed the Swallow 30.
UL: Ultralight. Pertex® Endurance® 10 denier water-resistant/breathable fabric.
"This has become my go-to option for most of my backpacking trips, especially if temperatures are expected to approach or dip below freezing."

First time use
4 day backpacking trip in the Smoky Mountains and the bag kept me warm every night!

Like how things “used to be made”- with pride and attention to detail.
Simply outstanding quality. Been in the market for outdoor gear for 30+ years. Love the build quality and down quality is superb. Even better is that FF is made in USA. Next up, some down outerwear.

Outstanding
If you’re undecided which one to get for a 30°F, get the Swallow. Extremely comfortable, lots of loft, zipper doesn’t snag and most of all, it’s quiet. Perfect 3 season sleeping bag and still kept me warm in colder climates. Quality is unmatched.

Warm and light
I just finished my Appalachian trail thru hike early July and I wanted to upgrade some gear. So I did my research and looked for the best possible bag I could find for my future PCT hike. I hiked with a guy on the AT who used a feathered friends bag and was obsessed he had it for 3 years and and for all 3 of his triple crown thru hikes. He sold me! I bought this and was instantly impressed with the quality and loft it created for the weight. Already used for my Mt Mitchell hike and a few others and didn’t even think about being cold. Yes I would recommend to anyone who is willing to spend money for quality goods!

Excellent bag
I used bag only on one trip so far, a 7-night trip in the Sierra's with a few nights below freezing a few fairly warm nights. Perfectly comfortable every night.
