Customer Service Associate Position

Feathered Friends, Seattle’s premier outdoor retailer and down goods manufacturer, is looking for a Customer Service/Retail Sales Associate to join the team at our Seattle store. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Passion for the outdoors and a desire to foster this in others
  • Excellent communication skills and outgoing personality
  • Detailed knowledge of outdoor gear and equipment 
  • Ability to stay on task and motivated  
  • Outdoor retail experience preferred 

DUTIES: 

  • Helping customers in their purchasing decisions by drawing on detailed product knowledge and personal experience
  • Provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Opening and closing the retail store
  • Counting down registers, bank deposits and point of sale usage
  • Sales floor maintenance, light cleaning 
  • Some Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability 
  • Other duties as assigned

Starting wage is $19.00/hour.  Benefits include health/vision/dental for full time (over 30 hours/week).
