Love!
Very happy with my recent purchase of this sleeping bag. I’d read so many positive reviews so decided to go for it. Not sure about the exact temps on my recent JMT hike but my tent would be covered in ice in the morning but in my sleeping bag I was comfortable. I’m a 5’10 female and always felt like I was between sleeping bag sizes. Unisex bags felt like there was a lot of dead space, and worried I wouldn’t fit into the women’s size. Took a chance and found the women’s to be the perfect size for me! Highly recommend feathered friends!

Egret 20 Degree Sleeping Bag Review
My wife purchased this bag for me, after I'd done extensive research to find a light weight replacement for my aging 20 degree synthetic bag. I'm a smaller male (5 ft 6 in) that primarily sleeps on his right side. So, the bag sized for a 5 ft 9 in woman is a perfect fit and doesn't force me to carry the extra weight of a bag sized for a 6 ft male. Additionally, I wanted the zipper on the right side and this bag gives me that. All in all an excellent replacement for my old synthetic sleeping bag.

Quality sleeping bag
I just returned from a four day backpacking trip in the Winds. The low temps at night were 42, 44, and 36. I wore lightweight base layers and thin wool socks and I was never cold, and I’m usually cold. The bag is fluffy and soft and feels luxurious. The zipper works well as long as you don’t unzip it all the way - I had a very difficult time getting the zipper started again. I’m 5’3” with broad shoulders and I had plenty of room side to side, and enough room at the bottom of the bag for my camera, phone, and water filter. My only gripe, and it’s a small one, is that the hood is a bit shallow and I struggled to keep my pillow inside the bag. Overall, it’s an excellent sleeping bag and worth the hefty price tag.

Sheds a lot of feathers
I used the bag for the first time over 4 nights, and handled it carefully. Used it over two sleeping pads (it was cold). On the positive side, I was very warm and the temperature was about freezing, however, a big negative is that all the 4 nights, there were so many feathers strewn across. The website does mention the lone feather sticking out but this was sadly not the case.

Egret UL 20 Medium
Perfect! I'm 5'7" and almost didn't buy this bag because I'm a little claustrophobic and was afraid it would be too short for me. It's not. There is an extra inch or two in the footbox even fully stretched out. For someone with similar fears, I think this bag is plenty roomy for someone up to 5'7". If you're 5'8" or taller, I personally think that's where the borderline thinking would come in. The width throughout is good and roomy. I don't find the fabric to be noisy at all. There is a slight crinkly sound but nothing that would bother most people, in my opinion, unless someone is more sensitive to that. The lupine/purple color is a little less intense in person, which I like, too! Great bag and I'm happy I bought it.
