UL FAQs
Our UL-series sleeping bags get upgraded with a quieter, water-resistant Pertex® Quantum Pro® shell fabric, as well as the introduction of Pertex® Diamond Fuse lining fabric in the footbox for more long-term abrasion resistance.
Undyed fabric is just that: undyed. Both the shell and lining fabrics (except for the footbox lining) have not been treated with dyes (color), so it is an option for those looking for the same benefits of Pertex® Quantum Pro® but with environmental advantages such as reduced water consumption and a lower chemical footprint.
Undyed is more transparent than dyed fabrics.
Undyed UL sleeping bags will take longer than our other colors to manufacture. Please allow up to 2 to 3 weeks for production.
What's inside this bag.
Pertex® Quantum Pro® Shell
We pair this ultralight Pertex® Quantum Pro® fabric with 950+ fill power down for one of the lightest sleeping bag combinations out there. Water-resistant, breathable, and surprisingly durable, this fabric will help you go the distance.
Pertex® Diamond Fuse Footbox
Inspired by feedback from the thru hiking community, we’ve added Pertex® Diamond Fuse fabric to the foot boxes of our UL sleeping bags. The interlocking diamond-shaped yarn resists pilling, providing improved abrasion protection against rough hiker feet.
Down Certified to the RDS
Our sleeping bags contain 100% Responsible Down Standard (RDS) down fill.

Best bag ever!
I can’t believe I have waited all these years to invest in a feathered friends bag. I am over 60 and have spent hundreds of nights in the backcountry and continue to do so. Just used it for the first time on a 7 day desert backpack. So light! And plenty warm- lowest temp around 30 but I never even zipped it all the way. The cut is great-room for my knees! SO HAPPY I got this!
Excellent customer service
I was a little nervous spending so much money on a sleeping bag, but really looking forward to experiencing such a high-quality piece of equipment. The bag arrived and unfortunately, it just wasn’t warm enough for me.. I was able to ship it back and was refunded my entire purchase price without any fuss. I truly appreciate this level of customer service. to get the most warmth out of the sleeping bag, I shook all the feathers to the top of the bag unfortunately, that does leave a gap near the zipper on the lateral side of the bag which creates a cold zone. It seems a bit too fussy to try and arrange all the feathers in the right place for complete coverage top and sides every time you use the bag.
