Spent 4 days/3 nights in the SE Sierras. Nights and mornings down into the low 30s. This jacket kept me toasty warm but felt light and feathery. Packs down small. Definitely a worthwhile investment to your backcountry gear lineup.

On first day of Fall, the Eos jacket fended off the chill. Fits well. Ordered medium for my 70 kg 178 cm. Like the slightly more room in the chest and shoulders for movement while not oversized in the abdomen lower back. Only 358 gm. Purchased on sale at FF so this jacket was an excellent value. Much better value than the Arc TNF MH etc high down fill light weight hooded jackets. Highly recommend.

Perfect balance of weight and warmth. Not a jacket for subfreezing but perfect for those Temps above when sitting around. If you're moving, it will keep you plenty warm. Would be nice to have some simple inside pockets to put it over the top.

I ordered this jacket at the last minute for a backpacking trip to the Wind Rivers. The jacket fits great and is trim enough to fit under a shell if necessary. It kept me warm in temps that went as low as the upper 20's.
