The Eos Series at a Glance
You might have experienced down sweaters and down jackets before, but the Eos goes beyond the typical. Our award-winning Eos down jackets and down vests are loaded with extra warm, extra packable 900+ fill power goose down. We pair the exquisite down insulation with a buttery Pertex® Quantum shell fabric that offers a combination of durability while still being very lightweight.

Total Weight: A Men's medium weighs just under 12 ounces (or 336 grams) while a Women's medium comes in at just around 11 total ounces (317 grams).

All the goose down we use is certified to the Responsible Down Standard. Not only that, we provide the details of the down of each and every Eos jacket we make, so you can be proud about what keeps you warm.
The Eos doesn't have an explicit temperature rating like a sleeping bag. However, it is optimized for 3-season backpacking, shoulder season hikes, mild winter days, or as a layering piece in colder conditions.
Fill power measures how much loft (volume) one ounce of down produces; the higher the number, the more air the down traps and the warmer the jacket is per ounce of fill. 900+ fill power goose down is extremely high for apparel. Higher fill power means a jacket can be lighter and more compressible while delivering the same warmth.
The external Pertex® Quantum shell is water-resistant in part to its Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. However, it is not fully waterproof.
