Q: How long will it take to complete and ship an Eos Jacket?
A: Due to the demand, it may take up to 2 weeks for the Eos to be shipped out.

Q: Will you be making more Eos?
A: Yes! We are constantly crafting more Eos Down Jackets in Seattle. We will be releasing more over the next few months.

Q: Why are you doing a limited release?
A: Supply chain woes. Many of our raw materials were significantly delayed the past year.

Q: I wasn't able to get the color or size that I wanted. What can I do?
A: If the color and size you are looking for is sold out, sign up to be notified! When they are back in stock, we send out emails on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Q: What's different about this Eos from the previous model?
A: We received a lot of feedback over the years, and the most common Eos requests were for a zippered chest pocket and adjustable drawstrings on the hood instead of lycra. So we did just that!

Warm, soft, and perfect pockets

Bought this when needing a down jacket for training in there Uinta Mountains, and couldn't be happier. Needed to have this sooner than three website said, but one email laterv and they had three color and size I needed and got it to me in time. Perfectly when mixed with a base layer and a fleece on the -5F morning. I see myself wearing this a lot in the fall and winter. The pockets are great in size!

So far, so good -- Love my Midnight EOS Jacket!

I do my fair share of traveling, both foreign and domestic, and in my efforts to pack light, I have been searching for something with a nice warmth-to-weight ratio that I can stuff into my carry-on backpack and forget it's there until I need it. Enter the EOS Men's Jacket. I am 6 feet tall and 210 pounds and the XL fits perfectly. After reading some of the reviews I was having a difficult time deciding if I should go up to XXL. After chatting on the phone with a friendly employee, I decided to go for the XL because I will sometimes wear this beneath a rain poncho, so I wanted the jacket to be closer to my body and not too bulky. The XL fits close to my body and holds in the warmth without feeling restrictive at all. After some internal debate, I chose the Midnight color and I love it. I might have gone with Black, but I already own a FF vest in that color. I also looked at Chive (green) but then I realized that most of my hiking gear is already a drab green, and I already have two synthetic jackets (one Fall and one Winter) in a similar color. For that reason, I am happy I went with the Midnight as a way to add a little color to my outdoor gear. I really like Feathered Friends as a brand, and first became aware of the company way back when they used to build customizable down sleeping bags. Back then, you could choose the style, length, exterior and interior fabrics, and the amount of fill. I really wish they would go back to doing that, as one of these days I will tackle a few more summits and I love the idea of being able to fine tune my gear to my own specs. I am also a big fan of eVent, and I wish they would offer products made with this fabric.

The Perfect Puffy

I have so many active down jackets, from Canada Goose, to Mountain hardware, to Patagonia and Arcteryx; this was my first first time ordering anything down from FF, preparing for a trip to Manitoba, and won’t be the last. Currently, getting hit with some real nice snow up here in NE New York, and this EOS is the warmest and also the coolest puffy I own. I could go on for days, but I would rather spend my time wearing my new EOS instead of talking about it. Thank you, Peace and Happiness!

Made in Seattle Since 1972… until when?

I think it’s confusing that the patch says ‘Made in Seattle Since 1972’ but the actual tag says ‘Made in Canada of Imported Materials’… what happened here, I thought I was buying an American-made product? Overall I like the jacket and upgraded from my old Patagonia puffy. But I like the larger tooth zippers on my Patagonia more, they caught the fabric less, the arms are a little too long on this jacket, and the wrist cuffs are too large and uncomfortable, which is where I’d prefer a different puffys design.

Feathered Friends

Many of our Eos and Helios are partially made by a sewing facility in Vancouver, Canada. We cut the fabric in Seattle, send it 140 miles north to Vancouver to be sewn, and then we fill, finish and inspect the garments back home in Seattle. Because of this distribution of labor, the garments are marked as 'Made in Canada' though the construction is shared. There are about 35 of us that sew so this sewing contract allows us to make many more Eos and Helios than we otherwise would be able to. All of our other garments and all of our sleeping bags and bedding are made in Seattle.

Love the coat!

Have only owned the coat for a few weeks now, but so far i am loving it. Fits well, it’s light, and it’s warm.
