Rentals
Our rental program is dedicated to providing convenient, cost-effective access to the highest quality mountaineering, avalanche safety & backpacking equipment for long term expeditions, backcountry classes & weekend outings.
- Expedition Outfitting: Discounted weekly and monthly rates to accommodate trips to Alaska, Antarctica, South America and the Himalaya.
- Try Before You Buy: Apply up to a 2-day rental's price towards the purchase of any similar regular-priced item within 3 months.
- Free Pickup & Drop-off Days: All rates include free pick-up and drop-off days.
- Crampons: All crampons must be fitted to your boots in the store upon pick-up to ensure compatibility.
Advanced reservations are strongly recommended
- Reservations can be made by calling us at (206) 292-2210. Rentals can be reserved in-person at our Seattle store.
- Rentals are paid at the time of reservation to ensure availability.
- Feathered Friends rentals might not use standard fabrics.
Sleeping Bags
We have nearly our entire line of down sleeping bags available for rent. Whether you need a bag for a trip or are trying to find the best fit, we have many to choose from, including the Flicker, Tanager, Vireo, and more.
