I’ve had feather or duck down comforters for years. This year I spent most of it in bed and am trying to make it more pleasant to have to be there. I ordered some bamboo sheets, some comforters to try out and some pillows. When this one popped up on a California king I figured it was close enough and ordered quickly. It’s a marshmallowy dream! Ultimate is so tall and squishy and warm but ai just run my window unit here in Texas if I get too warm. The bamboo sheets are cooling so it’s a perfect balance. I tend towards cold at night anyway. I hated the other 2 comforters and the duck down pillows were really terrible. Returned and I will start saving for pillows from here as well. Physical pain has taken me down but Feathered Friend are the comfort I needed! Thank you guys. You have made my bed and my happy outlook.

United StatesDo you live in a cabin it Maine?
I have not slept a single night under this comforter. I last maybe 10 minutes top. My wife laughs at me and she is an iceberg. Keep the house at night at 65. Don't buy this thing unless you live in a cabin in really cold country with wood heat. That is just with a sheet and nothing else. I keep it around for when the world falls apart. And this is just the mid weight one. I'm trying to love it, but can only deal with it in a tent in the yard in the middle of winter (kentucky).

We chose Feathered Friends because of the Wirecutter reviews, and it didn't disappoint! Our Queen Arctic Baffled Box 700 down comforter arrived within two weeks and fluffed up nicely when we opened it. We love how puffy, light, and quiet it is and that there is no shifting of the down or feather leakage. It feels well made, and the fabric loops in the corners make it easy to tie the comforter to the corners of our LLBean duvet cover. I was worried it wouldn't fit quite right because of the different dimensions from the LLBean comforters, but it works well. The comforter was sufficiently warm until the temps dropped below freezing. I was fine with it even then, but my partner likes it warmer, so we layered our older comforter underneath it, and that did the trick.

All the photos must be of arctic warmth comforters because mine is a medium and is flat. No poofiness at all. I am very disappointed about that. It was so expensive, I feel like I should really love it. It's just OK. I would return it if I could.

United States700 baffled ultimate down comforters
Very good quality. The best down comforter I have ever had. It is on the warm side but it will not get me sweating even my room temperature is about 50s. I love it.
