Hummingbird 20
Really happy I picked this over the roomier swallow, just the right amount of room for me with a bit left over for layering (140lbs 5’8”) The quality of construction and materials is without fault, my only criticisms are minor in the hope FF further improves this fabulous bag. The zipper plow does does do a good job preventing fabric snags, but it’s slow and a bit clunky to operate. I prefer the oversized dual fabric stiffeners running the length of the zipper on WM bags as a snagging solution, paired with a smooth operating standard slider. Arguably a 20 degree bag ought to have a proper draft collar. There really is none whatsoever on this bag, so when you need it to perform at its warmest it’ll mean cranking down the hood tight around the face. Personally I’m happy with none, knowing that I can add an insulated jacket for easier comfort when nearing the bags lower limit. When temps are regularly below freezing I’m switching to a warmer bag anyway. But for folks wishing to use this bag below freezing without the help of an insulated jacket, I would recommend considering alternatives with a real draft collar. Lastly, I wish FF would offer at least three length options. 5’10”, 6’2”, and 6’6” I think would make a lot of people happy with a more accurate fit. Overall a lovely bag I look forward to using for many years, thanks feathered friends!

Hummingbird UL 20
Excellent. It seems like an ideal 3 season bag for backpacking. Perfect combination of lightweight yet very warm and just roomy enough.

Best choice ever!
I am really-really satisfied with my Hummingbird. The reason why I choose this sleeping bag that I am really cold when the temperature under 10 - my feet and waist are always freezing - BUT I wanted to get a lightweight sleeping pad. After an all-encompassing research the best solution for me was the Feathered and Friends gears. I tried the Hummingbird at the last week in Danmark and it was awesome. One of my best choice ever!

Perfect for backpacking
I first used this on a 3-day backpacking trip in the Adirondacks. The sleeping bag was incredibly light and kept me nice and toasty. Looking forward to using it again!
