We offer our 0 and -10 degree sleeping bags in two fabric options.

ES Series

The ES series has a 15 denier + 40 denier ripstop weave main shell featuring a Pertex Shield waterproof-breathable coating, coupled with a lightweight Electrospun panel across the torso and midsection to enhance air permeability and vent excess moisture.

Light Series

The Light series has an ultralight 7 denier + 30 denier ripstop weave shell fabric, with a 10 denier recycled nylon lining enhanced with a heat-reflecting titanium film.

The ES bags excel at weather protection and moisture management, while the Light bags are an excellent option for drier climates and trips where weight savings is at a premium.

The widest of our zero degree bags, the Ibis provides room in the shoulders while maintaining the efficient cut necessary to reduce extra space and keep heat loss to a minimum. Like the Snowbunting, the Ibis is ideal for cold ascents in the Cascades, Nepal treks, shoulder season in the Rockies, and for Mount Rainier. The Ibis also excels when you are pushing the comfort rating of bag and need space to wear a down jacket while you sleep.

We bolstered the Ibis with a panel on the top of the sleeping bag made from Pertex® Shield Air, which is even more breathable and packable.

ES: Winter & Expedition. Pertex® Shield 15 denier with 40 denier rip-stop reinforcement fabric with water-resistant/ breathable coating with 3 Layer Pertex® Shield Air electrospun laminated fabric.

Ibis ES 0 Degree Sleeping Bag

Ibis ES 0 Degree Sleeping Bag Super sleeping bag. Blows away both of my older Marmot 0 Degree bags. Well worth the extra bucks. Thanks much. C. Margis

Quality

Product fulfilled expectations. You get what you pay for. Tested it in 0° weather. Could have slept in the **** comfortably. Best part of the sleeping bag is the durability of the fabric. Ready to see how its integrity unfolds through out the years.

Excellent bag

This bag is amazing! On the construction front, the exterior shell is very water resistant and repelled interior tent frost even when it was in direct contact with the tent wall for most of the night. The interior is also water resistant enough that I was able to quickly mop up a spilled water bottle before it soaked into the down (I accept that this sounds like I peed myself). Compared to my other 0 degree bag this has more of the insulation on the top, so it feels comparatively much warmer when paired with a high R-Value sleeping pad. Draft tubes and hood cinches very effectively trap in the warmth and minimize exposed skin. Interior phone pocket is great and has room for a phone and headlamp with room to spare and keeps them out of the way in a place that isn't uncomfortable if you are a side sleeper. My only design gripe is I feel like the hood is not quite roomy enough to squeeze an inflatable pillow in comfortably. On the fit front, the Ibis is pretty roomy around the torso at 5'10", 180lbs with fairly broad shoulders. This is great in a ski mountaineering context where I often go to bed with gloves, socks, boot liners, and potentially some base layers that I want to dry out with body heat, and this roominess lets me bring these into the bag without compressing the insulation and compromising the warmth. My giant puffy perfectly fills the torso space if I need maximum warmth from the bag. If you have a slight build, consider buying the Snowbunting instead. This bag is highly compressible; I am able to fully compress it in a 15L compression sack. It might even fit into a 12L sack, though it'd probably be difficult to pack it in enough initially to start compressing with straps.

My go to winter bag!

I haven’t had this bag very long but tested it outside in the backyard a few times before taking it to the field. I used a bivy and it did get below the bags rating by several degrees I sleep warm and I stayed warm no problem. The bag has just the right amount of room for me I typically sleep on my side. It is well constructed and should last for years. I like that the panel on top is more breathable than the rest of the shell, other manufacturers bags don’t have this. I live in WI and this is going to be my go to winter bag as 0 degrees is probably average temp at night around here and I’m confident this bag can handle it. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
