Help us on our quest to be as low-waste as possible! We strive to order only the materials we know we'll use, but sometimes we still have leftovers. We're giving these materials a new life in our upcycled down blankets. Made from the same premium fabrics that go into our sleeping bags and jackets and fitted with snaps to securely attach around the shoulders, these blankets are perfect for camping, travel, backyard lounging, or anywhere you need an extra layer of warmth.
Blankets in this category are made from various lightweight nylon materials, mostly 20 denier fabrics like you would find in our lighter garments or three season sleeping bags.

I used this winter camping in Yosemite as an extra blanket over my sleeping bag and it was absolutely perfect… It was so warm during the night that I would actually have to take it off. I was camping with an old 32degree sleeping bag and this blanket in about 25-30degree nights. I’m sure it would function just as well if it got down to about 17 or so. Only complaint is the size is not super long, so it doesn’t cover your full body (I’m 5’11)

I’ve used this at sporting events, especially in the hockey arena around my legs. My husband and I keep our 2 blankets in our RV because they’re extremely warm and lightweight but take up very little space. When camping, we bundle up with them outside and then use them on the bed on chilly nights. They are bigger than I thought… more generous in size than a throw. They are made extremely well and whenever we use them it feels like a luxury. The down perfectly modulates body temperature compared to “plastic” blankets which make me sweat because they aren’t breathable (no matter what the manufacturers claim!). So happy with my purchase and the next time they go on sale, I’m thinking about getting 2 more for our 2 dogs… who are getting older… to warm up after going outside during our Wisconsin winters.

United StatesAwesome Addition to Cold Weather Camping
This blanket is the perfect addition to carry when camping in cold weather. I used it around camp as an extra layer and in the tent as an extra layer around my head and shoulders to plug drafts around my quilt. It packs down compactly and is very lightweight. Also, the snaps and loops made it easy to configure the blanket for different uses. It is a great addition to my pack!
