Great crampons but not the right model for me
these crampons are made well, but the Petzl Irvis model fit my needs for ski mountaineering better than the Vasaks. The Vasaks are 12 point steel while the Irvis are 10 point steel with the only difference being the Irvis lacks the two mid-foot points. The Irvis crampons weigh 736g and the Vasaks weigh 842g, and the Irvis pack down better than the Vasaks. It is very hard to find the Irvis Leverlock Universal in stores which is optimized for ski boots so I ended up returning the Vasaks and ordering directly from Petzl
