Q: How long will it take to complete and ship an Eos Jacket?
A: Due to the demand, it may take up to 2 weeks for the Eos to be shipped out.
Q: Will you be making more Eos?
A: Yes! We are constantly crafting more Eos Down Jackets in Seattle. We will be releasing more over the next few months.
Q: Why are you doing a limited release?
A: Supply chain woes. Many of our raw materials were significantly delayed the past year.
Q: I wasn't able to get the color or size that I wanted. What can I do?
A: If the color and size you are looking for is sold out, sign up to be notified! When they are back in stock, we send out emails on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Q: What's different about this Eos from the previous model?
A: We received a lot of feedback over the years, and the most common Eos requests were for a zippered chest pocket and adjustable drawstrings on the hood instead of lycra. So we did just that!

This coat is delightfully warm, has nicely sized pockets and is of solid construction. the included stuff sack it appropriately sized and makes packing it along on a trip easy. Highly recommended

TLDR: The perfect down jacket. This is my preferred insulation layer for most backcountry activities. Size: L Measured Wt: 356g My measurements: 44" chest, 34" waist, 71" wingspan, 5'10" on a tall day, and relatively wedge shaped. I usually fall between a medium and large in most brands Use: 3 season backpacking/skiing/climbing in the Sierra/Cascades (usually high 20s F and up)Comparisons: FF Daybreak (2012 I think), Patagonia hoody, a synthetic Nuclei FL, and a vastly inferior product that rhymes with toast blisterer. I also own a Volant for colder trips. Fit: Perfect for me. Much improved over the Daybreak and most other brands which tend to be too loose around the midsection/waist or too tight around the chest. Weight comparison: It is slightly heavier than the L Daybreak (286g) and other ultralight jackets I've used, but the more robust material and zippers, extra loft, and the addition of hood adjustment seems worth the weight penalty to me. Materials/construction: the jacket feels robust, and given my experience with other FF gear, I expect this jacket to last a lifetime if taken care of properly. This is not a "****** light" article of clothing, but strikes an excellent balance of weight vs warmth and craftsmanship. For comparison, my Ghost Wisperer lasted two years before becoming unrepairable, and the Daybreak is a decade old without any significant signs of wear (given to my son). Warmth: It seems marginally warmer than the Daybreak (maybe due to fit), and it is significantly warmer than all other jackets I've had with sewn-through baffles. Room for improvement:-I know everyone wanted the chest pocket, but I would trade that for lighter weight.-Not waterproof or hydrophobic down, but if you wear a down jacket in the rain, what are you expecting? This is not really an issue IMO.-Not cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
