This new version of the Scarpa Vapor is their premier women's all around high performance alpine and multi-pitch rock climbing shoe. A supportive 1.4 mm midsole and full length Vibram® XS Edge outsole combine for excellent vertical face and crack climbing. To-the-toe lacing maximizes comfort and provides the ideal customized performance fit. A new all leather upper uses TPU overlays to increase comfort and abrasion protection. The unique dual-density rubber toe patch combines two different rubber densities for stiffness and stickiness. 2mm Vibram® XS Grip2 rubber wraps the heel cup for extra friction, protection, and support. A discontinuous active heel rand helps to increase comfort around the achilles tendon on small edges in technical terrain while increasing dynamic forward pressure and focusing power over the big toe.
