Of our mummy sleeping bags, the Swallow is more spacious than the Hummingbird and narrower than the Swift. An ideal all-around backcountry bag, the Swallow is perfect for a wide range of summer conditions.

Our YF line of sleeping bags feature a lightweight, 100% nylon Pertex® Quantum® shell that uses yarns with unique Y-shaped filaments to create a fabric with increased downproofing and water beading properties, even after years of use and washing.

Love this bag. Saying it’s soft and plush is an understatement. Light and warm too. Used it for Rim to Rim the last weekend in May with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s on the rim. Never had the first chill. I have the 20° model and actually had to dump a little warm air a couple of times. It’s my first FF bag, construction and overall quality look great.

Haven’t trail tested yet, but hung out in it in my living room. Feels about accurate temp rating-wise and sits right in the middle of my 0 degree bag and my 15 degree bag. It’s heavier than my 30 degree bag yet somehow feels incredibly light. Very comfy materials. I’m sold on Feathered Friends for life.

I used this bag to climb Marangu Route of Kilimanjaro in September and it kept me warm all the nights while others around me were freezing. I love how light it is to pack too!
