900+ Goose Down

We source our premium goose down from Eastern Europe. Our suppliers use time-honored practices such as hand gathering from small family farms, coupled with modern processing facilities featuring sustainable water and energy systems. The combination of high quality raw goose down and superior processing result in down clusters of unrivaled quality. All of the goose down we use is certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).

900+ Muscovy Down

Ultrasonic Muscovy Down™comes from Muscovy ducks, a breed known for producing large and resilient down clusters that are closer in structure to Eider down than to traditionally sourced duck down. Our Muscovy down has undergone a patented ultrasonic washing process to ensure ultra-clean, odor-free, high-lofting down clusters. Ultrasonic Muscovy down is RDS and Bluesign certified.

Because Ultrasonic Muscovy is much less expensive than comparable fill power goose down, using Ultrasonic Muscovy allows us to offer a lower price point option for some products, without sacrificing quality standards.

What Is The Difference?

Besides the fact that goose down comes from geese and Muscovy down comes from ducks, the main difference is price. Market factors including availability, geolocation, and a stigma against traditional duck down make Muscovy down less expensive than goose down.

The Winter Wren is a favorite of backpackers, bikepackers, and big-wall climbers alike. The zippered arm holes of the Wren series allow you to wear your bag like an uber-warm parka when you're perched 10 pitches up, and the two-way center zip provides a convenient opening to remain tied in while you sleep. Trips out of the tent in the wee hours of the morning are no longer a matter of necessity overcoming endurance; the Wren's drawcord bottom the bag can be opened up and easily slipped above the waist.

Pertex® YFuse® Shell Fabric

Pertex® YFuse® (YF) filaments have a uniquely engineered Y form, tightly interlocking to create highly stable yarn structures.

Whereas conventional, circular sectioned filaments lie loosely side by side, Y Fuse filaments interlock tightly in layers to create a unified yarn structure. Fabrics created using Y Fuse yarns have greatly enhanced downproof and water beading properties.
