Fierce cold doesn't stand a chance. We put decades of experience designing jackets for the coldest environments into the all-new Khumbu Parka. Crafted with bomber waterproof, breathable Pertex® Shield® XT fabric, Taslite reinforcements where you need it, lofty and toasty 900+ goose down, and Primaloft® Gold in the collar. Stay warm wherever your adventures take you.

"The jacket was bombproof. In strong winds and -40° C (-40° F) temperatures, there was no question that this jacket was perfectly suited to these conditions."

Great but haven’t used it yet

I can tell this was masterfully crafted and can tell that it will be very warm. However I haven’t used it yet on an expedition, I’ve only had it a wee.

Literally The Best Coat Ever!!!!

I want to give this coat 20 stars. Winters have always felt pretty brutal to me but this coat has significantly eased my suffering! :) Not to mention Feathered Friends customer service was absolutely phenomenal.

Winter doesn’t touch me

We live in a frigid winter environment, but feel the recent purchase of the Khumbu parka has finally satisfied our quest for a jacket that lets us sail through winter without a shiver. Unbelievably crafted, it puts designer outerwear to shame. Comfortable, light, protective, beautiful, durable, timeless……. Look no further!

Got it like a week ago

Bought this for Aconcagua in January. Got an email to review it now. How am I supposed to use this in a week? One time my brother brought the rock and ice parka for a snow campout at mount baker heather meadows. HE DIDNT SLEEP. These coats aren’t sleeping bags but I guess you could make that mistake. I don’t wear this coat to work. It’s warmer than my Canada goose expedition parka, but I don’t think as durable. If you’re buying this, it’s because you’re going somewhere that Celsius and Fahrenheit meet. I own almost everything FF makes and this is one of them. When you’re used to this or WM you’ll be surprised if you use other brands of down. Other brands are disappointing and I feel like FF down lofts better than WM. Maybe I’ll post about Aconcagua but right now I have pneumonia and really just want to drink hot grape juice.
