This new R1 Ultralight 1/2 Zip from Patagonia is the lightest weight baselayer in the R1 family. and provides superior temperature regulation and ease of layering with a lofty, breathable next-to-skin weave combined with a smooth outer face fabric. An extremely deep front zipper adds maximum temperature regulation and allows you to easily pull this layer off and on, even while wearing a climbing helmet. Other features include a vertical zippered chest pocket, low-profile cuffs that easily push up over your forearms, a unique single-panel sleeve construction that increases comfort while wearing packs by keeping seams off of your shoulders, and a cleanly finished long hem that can stay tucked under a climbing harness.
